Counselling for Bereavement |
|
In the case of bereavement counselling it is
usually best to wait 6 weeks following a bereavement before
starting Counselling. Grief is a very personal experience and even
couples in a good relationship can find sharing the experience
hard. Counselling can provide the space and ability to talk about
the person we have lost. This can often be difficult with others
we love, but who may want to protect us from our tears.
Alternately we may not feel like crying at all and be angry about
the situation. All these reactions are valid and perfectly normal. |
